My name is Danielle Dowling and this year I decided to come to India to volunteer my time with F.A.C.E. I am twenty years and live in Adelaide, Australia. I am currently studying a double degree in Nursing and Health Sciences, specialising in Mental Health Nursing at FlindersUniversity.I have always wanted to work helping others that were suffering and in need, especially those in developing countries. This is how I came to be in Faridabad.I have enjoyed my stay in India immensely. Volunteering has opened my eyes to the struggles faced by the disabled, not just in India but all over the world. Through volunteering with F.A.C.E I have also been able to experience the 'real' India. Spending one month immersed in Indian culture has been fantastic, I have seen and experienced how people here really live. I have been privileged to great hospitality from my hosts, who have been extremely generous and kind.I want to thank F.A.C.E for accepting me for this project as it has been an enriching experience. I feel that I have gained so much from my time volunteering and I can only hope that I have been able to help the children
Thanking you Danielle Dowling( Australian Citizen)
